East Java is a province in the eastern Indonesian island of Java. Surabaya The capital, is the total region area of about 46,428 km ², and the total population 37,478,737 people in 2006. East Java has the widest area among the 6 provinces in Java Island, and has the second highest population in Indonesia after West Java.
Directly adjacent to the Sea in the north Java, Strait of Bali to the east, the Indian Ocean in the south, and province of Central Java in west. East Java region also includes the island of Madura, Kangean Island, Island of Bawean, and numerous small islands in the Java Sea and Indian Ocean (including the island of Nusa Sempu and barung).
East Java is known as a center of eastern Indonesia, and has high economic significance, which contribute achieving 14.85% of the national Gross Domestic Product.
East Java also has a lot of tourist areas (leading tourist spot), among others: Tour the city of Surabaya, Taman Safari Indonesia II Prigen Regency Pasuruan, East Java Park Batu Regency Malang, East Java Park (WBL) Regency Lamongan, Telaga Sarangan Regency Magetan and Trinil museums in Regency ngawi which is the study of ancient life and still much more.
